Voting by Mail is:

For the first time ever, all voters in California will receive a vote-by-mail ballot! Ballots were mailed October 5, return yours no later than Tuesday, November 3.
Voting by mail is as simple as:
1. Complete your ballot
If you don't receive your ballot or need a replacement ballot, click here for Alameda County or here for Contra Costa County to get a new one.
2. Return your ballot - no postage necessary!
Make sure you sign and date the back of your ballot before mailing. It must be postmarked by Tuesday, November 3. If you'd like to drop off your ballot in person, see below for the location closest to you.
3. Track your ballot
Click here to sign up to track your ballot through the process and confirm your vote is counted by text, email or phone.
To vote in person or to drop-off your ballot:

If you prefer, you can drop your ballot off at any dropbox in your county. Click here to find the closest location to you in Alameda County or click here for Contra Costa County.

In-person vote centers open starting October 24 and remain open through November 3. You can vote at any vote center in your county. Vote center locations will be available soon - check back here or with your county to find the closest to you. Don't forget to wear your mask!
